Mahmadyorzoda Usmon Mamur
Mahmadyorzoda Usmon Mamur was born on December 23, 1965 in the Gonchi district (now Devashtich), in the working-class family.
In 1991, he graduated from the Agronomy Department of the Tajik Agricultural Institute (currently the Tajik Agrarian University named after Sh. Shotemur).
In 1991, Mahmadyorzoda Usmon Mamur began his career as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Plant Production. In the period from 1991 to 1994, he studied in full-time graduate school of the university.
From 1995 to 2007, he was an assistant, then a senior teacher and associate professor of the Department of Plant Growing, while from 1995 to 2005 he worked as Deputy Dean of the Agronomy Faculty of TAU.
In 1996, he defended his thesis on the topic: “Comparative productivity of crops and legumes in stubble crops, depending on the norms of fertilizer applied in the Gissar Valley,” and in 2007 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Scientific substantiation of the technology of cultivating crops and legumes in crop crops, depending on the norms of fertilizer applied in the irrigated conditions of Central Tajikistan. ”
In 2013, from the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, given the multilateral teaching, scientific, educational activities, Mahmadyorzoda U.M. was awarded the title of professor of the department.
During 2000-2020, he worked as the head of the Department of Plant Production, Deputy Dean of the Correspondence Faculty, Dean of the Agronomy Faculty and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.
Mahmadyorzoda U.M. is the author of 7 textbooks, 25 study guides, 10 recommendations, 2 monographs and more than 151 scientific articles. Textbooks on the subjects: “Agrotechnical features of obtaining two grain crops per year in the conditions of Tajikistan (2000)”, “Fundamentals of field crop seed production” (2008), “Plant growing with basics of seed production” (2011), “Vegetable growing” (2014), “Potato growing” ”(2014),“ Fundamentals of agronomy ”(2016),“ Vegetable growing ”(2019) are used by students of the faculties: horticulture and agricultural biotechnology; agronomic; economic as textbooks and scientific literature.
Under the leadership of Mahmadyorzoda U.M. defended 5 candidate dissertations. He is currently the supervisor of 3 Ph.D. dissertations and one work on the PhD degree is in the pre-defense phase.
For many years of fruitful activity in the field of education, in 2002 Mahmadyorzoda U.M. received the high title "Excellence in Education of Tajikistan", and in 2009 he was awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
By order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, dated January 27, 2020, Mahmadyorzoda U.M. was appointed as rector of the Tajik Agrarian University named after. Sh. Shotemur.
